Kevin McCarthy Tells CNN That 2 of His Colleagues Should No Longer Be in Congress
CNN’s chief congressional correspondent, Manu Raju, recently spoke to former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, and McCarthy didn’t hold back when it came to his fellow Republicans.
Raju reported that McCarthy had “no love lost” for those who voted to remove him from the speakership on October 3.
Specifically, McCarthy had some choice words for Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, stating that the Republican Party would be “tremendously” better off without him in the House.
McCarthy also predicted that South Carolina’s Nancy Mace would lose her seat in the next election, criticizing her “flip-flopping” and lack of conservative principles.
New — Spoke to Kevin McCarthy. Had some choice words for “crazy eight” Rs. Said GOP won’t “ever heal” unless there are “consequences”
Said GOP would benefit “tremendously” if Gaetz wasn’t in House.
And says Nancy Mace doesn’t deserve to win reelect.

According to McCarthy, Gaetz doesn’t align with conservative values and focuses more on media attention than policy. McCarthy believes that there must be consequences for Gaetz’s actions for the Republican Party to heal.
McCarthy also accused Mace, Gaetz, and Tennessee’s Tim Burchett of prioritizing media attention over conservative policy.
When Raju reached out to the three Republicans for their response, they didn’t hold back.
Gaetz responds: “Thoughts and prayers to the former speaker as he works through his grief.”
In response, Mace said McCarthy “lied all the time.”
And Burchett said McCarthy was “bitter.”
“He’ll enter into a successful job in lobbying.”

Mace accused McCarthy of constant lying and emphasized her ability to raise funds for her own campaigns. She also expressed her confidence in women’s ability to run and win elections.
The full interview with McCarthy will be aired on CNN’s “Inside Politics” on Sunday.
A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:
I walked into the office one morning and noticed something strange. Half of The Western Journal’s readership was missing.
It had finally happened. Facebook had flipped THE switch.
Maybe it was because we wrote about ivermectin. Or election integrity. Or the Jan. 6 detainees. Or ballot mules.
Whatever the reason, I immediately knew what to do. We had to turn to you because, frankly, we know you are the only ones we can trust.
Can you help? Every donation to The Western Journal goes directly to funding our team of story researchers, writers and editors who doggedly pursue the truth and expose the corrupt elites.
Can I count on you for a small donation? We operate on a shoestring compared to other news media companies, so I can personally promise that not a penny of your donation will be wasted.
We will use every single cent to fight against the lies and corruption in high places. And as long as we have your help, we will never give up.
Sincerely,
Josh Manning

How does even a small contribution help in the fight against big tech censorship?
Even a small contribution can help in the fight against big tech censorship in several ways:
1. Raising Awareness: By supporting organizations or initiatives that oppose tech censorship, your contribution can help raise awareness about the issue among a wider audience. This can lead to more people understanding the importance of combating censorship and supporting efforts against it.
2. Research and Advocacy: Contributions can help fund research and advocacy efforts that investigate and analyze instances of tech censorship. This can provide valuable insights into the extent of the problem and help develop strategies to address it more effectively.
3. Legal Support: Small contributions can collectively contribute towards funding legal battles against big tech censorship. This support can help organizations or individuals who are fighting censorship in court, enabling them to hire competent legal representation and strengthen their case.
4. Technology Development: Contributions can aid in the development of alternative platforms, tools, or technologies that prioritize free speech and resist censorship. These innovations can provide alternative avenues for expression and counter the dominance of big tech platforms.
5. Grassroots Movements: Even a small contribution can help fuel grassroots movements that resist big tech censorship. By supporting these movements financially, you assist in organizing protests, campaigns, and awareness events that draw attention to the issue and put pressure on tech giants to reevaluate their policies.
Overall, every contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in building momentum, supporting initiatives, and nurturing a broader movement against big tech censorship.
