Kevin Costner’s Estranged Wife Seeks $248,000 in Monthly Child Support

The estranged wife of Kevin Costner is making headlines as she seeks a staggering $248,000 in monthly child support payments, according to court documents.

“The figure is less than the amount needed to maintain the children in their accustomed lifestyle,”

The former handbag designer, Christine Baumgartner, is requesting that Costner continue to cover 100% of private-school tuition, extracurricular activities, sports, and health-care expenses for their three children. The couple, who were married for 18 years, filed for divorce on May 2.

  • Hayes, 14
  • Grace, 13

According to the documents, Costner’s income in 2022 was $19,517,0641, with the family’s expenses totaling $6,645,285. This left them with an income of $7,595,520 after expenses and taxes.

Baumgartner has been refusing to leave their shared residence, despite a clause in their prenuptial agreement. The agreement mandates that she vacate the property within 30 days of a divorce filing, as previously reported by The Daily Wire.

The terms laid out in the documents include $38,000 a month in child support, as well as covering all child-related costs.

In addition, Costner would pay $30,000 monthly for a rental home for Christine and $10,000 for moving costs. His estimated net worth is $145 million.

Costner’s New Project

The 68-year-old actor recently made headlines for his decision to leave the hit television series “Yellowstone” and pursue his own Western-themed project, “Horizon.” In mid-May, Costner shared an image on social media, expressing his excitement for the upcoming film.
