Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) didn’t hold back when discussing President Joe Biden’s family during a recent appearance on Fox News’ ”Hannity.” He compared being lectured about “privilege” by Biden to being lectured about gun safety by Alec Baldwin.
Kennedy argued that the controversy surrounding Hunter Biden, the President’s son, was a perfect example of the intersection between “privilege and sleaze.” He firmly believed that Hunter epitomized privilege.

“Huntergate is about two things: privilege and sleaze,” Kennedy began. “First, the privilege. President Biden and many members of the media lecture us incessantly about the injustice of privilege, especially so-called ‘white privilege.’ But to me, that’s like being lectured about gun safety by Alec Baldwin.”
Kennedy pointed out the hypocrisy of the president and his party, who often lecture Americans about privilege but conveniently ignore Hunter Biden, who embodies privilege.
“How did Hunter Biden earn those millions of dollars?” Kennedy questioned, referring to the younger Biden’s lucrative foreign business deals and his position on the board of Burisma Holding. He also questioned Hunter’s intelligence for surrendering his infamous laptop, which contained sensitive and incriminating information, to a stranger.
“How smart is it to try to deduct your hookers on your federal income tax?” Kennedy asked. “The next time we are lectured about privilege, I want people to remember that.”
Kennedy then shifted to his second point, dismissing the White House’s claim that Joe Biden only discussed the weather with Hunter and his business partners because he was a devoted father.
“If you believe that, you will never own your own home,” Kennedy stated. “The evidence presented by the House and Senator Grassley in the Senate clearly shows that President Biden was well aware of his son’s actions and actively enabled them.”
