Jeff Landry Sworn in as Louisiana’s 57th Governor
Jeff Landry has officially taken office as the 57th governor of Louisiana.
Landry (R-La.) was inaugurated on Sunday, marking the beginning of his term as governor.
The inauguration ceremony was moved up to Sunday due to inclement weather.
With Landry’s inauguration, Louisiana enters a new era of conservative leadership, as he is the first Republican governor in eight years.
“God shined his light on our government,” Landry said. “Tomorrow, he promises blessings that he will shower on the entire state.”
