“We just wanted to say our hearts go out to all of the victims, their families, Chiefs Kingdom, and really all of Kansas City that was there to celebrate the community,” Jason, who recently retired as center for the Philadelphia Eagles, added.
“It’s unfortunate and deeply tragic what occurred. So we want to express our gratitude to the local law enforcement, first responders, and everyone who has been helping those affected by this tragedy,” he continued.
Travis encouraged fans to contribute to an emergency response fund that has been set up.
Jason also praised the community for coming together in the aftermath of the tragedy.
“One of the beautiful things about doing this podcast is the amazing community out there — the 92%ers — everyone who watches this show,” he said.
