Jake Tapper Is Paid Millions A Year To Not Know The News

Just when you think CNN’s Jake Tapper can’t become an even bigger media hack than he already is, he finds a way to prove you wrong.

The latest incident of the network host’s shoddy conduct as a so-called “journalist” came on Friday during his interview with New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Among the topics covered during the exchange was the Big Apple’s upcoming mayoral contest, which will pit Adams against the newly nominated Democrat candidate, radical socialist Zohran Mamdani.

When the conversation shifted to the race against Mamdani, Tapper — whose network a jury found is actually fake news — probed Adams about his criticisms of his Democrat opponent. More specifically, the TV personality claimed the incumbent mayor “said recently that the Jewish community in New York should be concerned about him,” and asked, “What specifically has Mamdani said that you think is antisemitic?”

“Pro-Hamas,” Adams replied. “Hamas is a dangerous terrorist organization that should be destroyed. When you embrace the philosophies of Hamas, not only what they do to their own people, but what they did in Gaza, to lift them up and praise them, I think that’s a clear indicator that something is wrong with that.”

Clearly desperate to fulfill his role as a Democrat Party shill, Tapper leapt to Mamdani’s defense by declaring he had no idea what Adams was talking about.

“When did he praise Hamas?” Tapper asked. “I don’t recall him ever praising Hamas.”

It’s remarkable to watch a man who’s paid millions of dollars a year to know what’s happening in the political world to act dumbfounded about Mamdani’s checkered history.

If he had done “a little research,” as Adams suggested, he might have learned that during his days as a failed rapper, Mamdani “voiced his ‘love’ for the five leaders of a notorious nonprofit convicted of funneling more than $12 million to the terror group Hamas,” according to the New York Post. Or that Mamdani has repeatedly refused to condemn pro-Hamas phrases such as “globalize the intifada” and attempted to rationalize Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attacks on Israel.

But the reality is that Tapper isn’t paid the big bucks to report the news or conduct honest and fair interviews. He’s paid millions of dollars a year to be a left-wing propagandist, whose primary objective is to run cover for the Democrat Party at all costs.

Everything about Tapper’s career shows this to be true.

Within the past few months alone, the CNN host has been running around to legacy media programs hawking his book, which promises readers an inside look at the concerted effort to hide Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline. Naturally, this shameless self-promotion tour has ignored any role Tapper himself had in helping contribute to the cover-up and the many times he insisted Biden was “sharp mentally.”

Tapper was also an instrumental participant in the fomentation of the baseless hoax that Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election. The host and his network spent years spewing misinformation about the Hillary Clinton campaign-founded conspiracy with virtually no hint of skepticism whatsoever.

And those examples are only the tip of the iceberg. As The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway previously observed, Tapper “also gave credence to Julie Swetnick’s false claims about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the ‘fine people‘ hoax, COVID hysteria, and the most extreme Democrat lawfare.”

Try as he may to convince you otherwise, Tapper is not a journalist. He’s a Democrat mouthpiece who will say or do anything to protect his political allies, the truth be damned.
