Graham warns Iran: If you escalate Israel conflict, US will retaliate.
Senator Lindsey Graham Warns Iran: “We’re Coming for You”
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) issued a strong warning to Iran, urging them not to escalate the war in Israel. In a recent appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, Graham stated that if Iran aids in escalating the conflict, the United States will take action against them.
The current conflict has already claimed the lives of over 3,600 people, including 29 Americans. Additionally, more than 100 Israelis and Americans are being held hostage by Hamas, the Iran-backed terrorist group responsible for the surprise attack.
Graham emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating, “If Hezbollah, a proxy of Iran, launches a massive attack on Israel, I will consider it an existential threat to the State of Israel. In response, I will introduce a resolution in the United States Senate to authorize military action alongside Israel to cripple Iran’s oil industry. Iran, if you choose to escalate this war, be prepared for the consequences.”
When questioned about the possibility of declaring war on Iran, Graham clarified that his intention is to use military force to eliminate the funding sources of Hamas and Hezbollah, both heavily reliant on Iran for financial support.
“The idea that Iran was unaware of this operation is laughable. 93% of Hezbollah and Hamas’s funding comes from Iran. They are the root of the problem, the great evil,” Graham asserted. “So, if Hezbollah acts upon Iran’s orders, then Iran will find itself in the crosshairs of the United States and Israel.”
The recent attack, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, marked the first time since 1973 that Israel has officially declared war.
Graham reiterated his call for the United States to collaborate with Israel in destroying Iran’s oil infrastructure. He expressed his intention to introduce legislation that would authorize military action to target Iran’s oil refineries in the event of an attack by Hezbollah.
As the top Republican on the Senate Appropriations subcommittee responsible for foreign aid, Graham also announced plans to visit Israel and Saudi Arabia in the coming days. His objective is to encourage ongoing normalization talks between the two nations.
Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is leading a bipartisan delegation in Tel Aviv, including Senators Mitt Romney (R-UT), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), and Jacky Rosen (D-NV).

Ve missile attack on Israel, Iran will be held accountable. If they continue to support and aid Hamas in their attacks on innocent civilians, Iran will face the consequences.”
Iran, a long-time supporter of terrorist groups in the region, has been accused of providing financial and military assistance to Hamas and other extremist organizations. This has been a major source of concern for the international community, as it threatens stability and peace in the Middle East.
In response to Iran’s alleged involvement in the conflict, the United States has increased its military presence in the region. The deployment of additional troops and resources is a clear message to Iran that their actions will not go unanswered.
Senator Graham also called on other countries to join the United States in condemning Iran’s support for terrorist activities. He urged the international community to put pressure on Iran, through diplomatic means or economic sanctions, in order to force them to stop their destabilizing actions.
It is crucial for the United States and its allies to respond to Iran’s aggression in a unified manner. The world cannot afford to let Iran continue to support and sponsor terrorism without consequences. This not only threatens the lives of innocent civilians in the region, but also undermines efforts to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East.
Furthermore, the United States has a responsibility to protect its citizens and uphold its commitments to its allies, such as Israel. Senator Graham’s warning to Iran serves as a reminder that the United States will not tolerate actions that put American lives at risk.
As tensions continue to rise in the region, it is important for diplomatic channels to remain open. The United States should continue to engage with Iran and other regional players in order to seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
However, it is also crucial for Iran to understand that the United States and its allies will not hesitate to take decisive action if necessary. The consequences for Iran, should they continue to support terrorism and escalate the conflict, will be severe.
Senator Lindsey Graham’s warning to Iran is a clear and strong message. It signals the United States’ determination to protect its interests and the interests of its allies in the face of aggression and terrorism.
Iran must take heed of this warning and reconsider its actions. The world is watching, and the choices Iran makes will have far-reaching consequences.
