IRS whistleblower claims Weiss let statute of limitations expire in Hunter Biden case.

IRS‍ Whistleblowers Allege⁣ DOJ Interference ‌in Hunter Biden Investigation

Gary Shapley, a ‍veteran agent⁣ with the Internal⁣ Revenue‌ Service (IRS), ⁣testified before House ‍lawmakers on Wednesday, revealing ⁢that⁣ the Justice Department intentionally ⁢delayed criminal proceedings against Hunter Biden. Shapley claimed that this delay was a‌ strategic move to allow the statute of ⁤limitations to expire.

Shapley, along with another‍ IRS whistleblower ⁢named ‌Joseph Ziegler, spoke out about the widespread interference‌ they⁤ experienced during⁢ their‍ investigation into the Biden family’s tax crimes.⁢ Both whistleblowers accused officials ⁣at the Department of Justice (DOJ) of obstructing their efforts.

According to Shapley, U.S. Delaware ‌Attorney David Weiss⁤ purposely waited for ⁣the statute ⁢of limitations ⁤to run out on ⁤the 2014-2015 financial crimes committed by Hunter Biden. ‌This allowed the president’s son to avoid facing additional charges. In June, ⁤it⁤ was revealed that Weiss had ‍struck‍ a plea⁣ deal with⁤ Hunter ⁤Biden, limiting‍ his charges to two misdemeanor⁣ tax crimes‌ and a single⁣ felony charge related ⁤to ⁣illegal firearm possession.

Shapley also mentioned ‍that the plea deal included ⁤a provision that would forgive the‍ felony⁣ charge after⁣ 24 months of sobriety. However, this ‌agreement could be ⁢jeopardized if the mysterious ‌White House cocaine‍ incident⁢ was linked⁢ to‌ Hunter Biden, who had⁣ written a ⁢book⁢ about his struggle with drug⁣ addiction.

“In ⁤November of 2022, the statute of limitations was set‌ to expire⁣ for⁤ the ⁤2014⁣ and 2015‍ charges in D.C., which included the ‍2014⁣ felonies⁢ for the attempt to ⁣evade or defeat tax and fraud or ⁤false statement ‌regarding Burisma⁤ income⁢ earned⁣ by Hunter Biden,” Shapley explained.

Both whistleblowers also ⁢revealed that the DOJ intentionally left out additional⁢ felonies from the plea agreement with Hunter Biden. Ziegler further ⁣stated ‍that IRS agents‍ were pressured‍ not ⁣to interview key witnesses in the case.

The transcripts of the IRS ⁤whistleblower interviews have increased pressure on the federal judge ⁣overseeing⁣ the‌ case to reject the ‍plea deal. The ⁣whistleblowers⁤ claimed that DOJ officials⁤ deliberately ‌hindered‍ the investigation,⁣ prevented IRS officials from interviewing crucial witnesses, and withheld key‍ evidence from reaching IRS investigators.

It is clear ⁣that the ‌IRS whistleblowers’ testimonies have raised serious ‌concerns about the⁤ integrity⁣ of the Hunter‍ Biden investigation and the‍ potential interference⁣ by‌ the Department‌ of Justice.
