Iran warns of a ‘major blast’ in the Middle East if Israel persists in eliminating terrorists
The Islamic Republic of Iran Threatens “Big Explosion” in the Middle East
The Islamic Republic of Iran has issued a chilling warning, stating that a ”big explosion” could rock the Middle East if Israel continues its pursuit of Hamas terrorists responsible for the deaths of 1,200 Israelis on October 7.
“At least every week, we receive a message from the U.S. telling us that U.S. bases in Syria and Iraq are targeted by some groups,” revealed Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian at the Doha Forum on Monday. He added, “At any moment there is a possibility of a big explosion in the region, one not controllable by any party.”
Amirabdollahian justified the recent surge in attacks by Iranian-backed terrorist groups against U.S. forces in the region, claiming they were acting in defense of the Arab and Muslim people of Gaza. He also emphasized Iran’s refusal to recognize Israel as a legitimate government, asserting that it has been an occupying power for the past 75 years. He called on the U.S. to abandon its unwavering support for Israel.
This statement comes in the wake of an attack by Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists on an oil tanker passing through the Bab-el-Mandeb, using a cruise missile.
President Joe Biden has faced mounting criticism for his perceived lack of response to these attacks from Houthi terrorists and other Iranian-backed Islamic groups in the region, which have repeatedly targeted U.S. forces.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly conveyed to Biden that if the U.S. fails to take action against the Houthi terrorists based in Yemen, Israel will step in. This comes after the terrorist group has repeatedly targeted shipping vessels associated with Israel.
According to numerous U.S. defense officials, Biden’s approach to the situation has been problematic. By attempting to avoid escalation, the opposite effect is occurring.
“Near to immediate term, where are the strikes on [Houthi] targets?” questioned Marc Polymeropoulos, a former CIA official, on social media. “Need to see this ASAP.”
Retired Vice Adm. John Miller, former commander of U.S. 5th Fleet, expressed concern that the U.S. is not taking these attacks seriously and that they have gone largely unanswered.
“We’re not deterring anybody right now,” Miller warned.
How has Iran been accused of supporting and enabling militant organizations like Hamas to carry out attacks against Israel?
Ts by claiming that they were in response to Israeli aggression and interference in the region. He accused Israel of provoking and supporting terrorist organizations such as Hamas and neglecting the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Iranian Foreign Minister’s warning comes amidst an escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas. In recent months, tensions have been high with frequent clashes and rocket attacks from Gaza into Israel, and retaliatory airstrikes by Israel. The ongoing violence has resulted in the deaths of both Israeli and Palestinian civilians, causing widespread concern and condemnation from the international community.
The Iranian regime’s support for militant groups like Hamas has long been a source of instability in the region. The country has been accused of providing financial, military, and political backing to these groups, allowing them to carry out attacks against Israel and furthering their extremist agenda.
Iran’s threat of a “big explosion” in the Middle East is a clear example of the regime’s dangerous willingness to use violence and instability as a tool to achieve its political objectives. Such rhetoric only serves to escalate tensions and increase the risk of further conflict in an already volatile region.
The international community must condemn and confront Iran’s destabilizing activities in the Middle East. It is imperative to hold the Iranian regime accountable for its support of extremist groups and its threats against regional stability. Diplomatic efforts should be intensified to de-escalate tensions and encourage a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Furthermore, it is crucial for countries in the Middle East to come together and form a united front against Iran’s aggressive behavior. Cooperation and collaboration are essential in confronting the common threat posed by the Iranian regime and its proxies.
In conclusion, Iran’s warning of a “big explosion” in the Middle East is a troubling escalation in an already volatile situation. The international community, along with Middle Eastern countries, must take decisive action to address Iran’s destabilizing activities and promote peace and stability in the region. Only through cooperation and diplomacy can a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict be achieved, and the threat of further violence be averted.
