MUNCIE, Ind.—Man Charged in Connection with Deadly Shooting
A weekend shooting in Muncie, Indiana has resulted in formal charges against a local resident.
John L. Vance Jr., a 36-year-old man from Muncie, has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery and criminal recklessness. These charges stem from the tragic incident that occurred over the weekend, leaving one person dead and 17 others wounded in the heart of central Indiana.
In addition to these charges, Vance has also been accused of possession of a firearm by a serious violent offender. The severity of the situation is evident as the legal proceedings move forward in Delaware Circuit Court.
