Fitzpatrick explained that they have found a way to expedite the consideration process from the usual 30 days to just seven days. He emphasized that the bill combines border security with foreign aid, both of which are crucial, and their goal is to ensure action is taken.
The legislation supported by Fitzpatrick has a one-year duration and a price tag of $66.32 billion. It includes “defense-only” funds to support Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.
