Harris announces fall book tour for her upcoming memoir
Former Vice President Kamala Harris announced on Thursday a 15-city book tour for her upcoming memoir, 107 Days, about her 2024 presidential campaign.
The fall tour will begin on Sept. 24, one day after its release, in New York City and will end in Miami. The international tour will take Harris around the United States, Canada, and England.
“Over the next few months, I will travel our country to share behind-the-scenes moments, lessons learned, and how we keep moving forward together,” Harris wrote on Instagram, attached to a short promotional video.
Harris described 107 Days last month as “a journal” recounting her abbreviated presidential campaign, after then-President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
She announced the book on July 31, just over a year from when she launched her campaign.
“In writing this book, one truth kept coming back to me,” Harris said in the July 31 video. “Sometimes the fight takes a while, but I remain full of hope and I remain clear-eyed. I will never stop fighting to make our country reflect the very best of its ideals always on behalf of the people.”
Harris will recount what she saw and learned throughout her presidential campaign during each city stop, and will lead conversations on “how we collectively chart a blueprint that sets an alternative vision for our country now,” according to the Simon & Schuster press release sent to the Washington Examiner.
The former vice president recently shared she would not enter the 2026 race for California governor, ending speculation.
“I have given serious thought to asking the people of California for the privilege to serve as their Governor. I love this state, its people, and its promise. It is my home,” she wrote in a statement on social media. “But after deep reflection, I’ve decided that I will not run for Governor in this election.”
Following the announcement, Harris went on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss her book and her decision not to run, explaining, “I don’t want to go back in the system.”

“I want to travel the country,” Harris told Colbert. “I want to listen to people, I want to talk with people, and I don’t want it to be transactional, where I’m asking for their vote.”
Tickets will be available for purchase at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, and will come with a copy of 107 Days. VIP meet-and-greet tickets, including a photo with Harris and a signed copy of the memoir, will also be available.
