A Long Road to Divorce
The divorce between Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez has been a lengthy process. The couple, who tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed their son Maceo that same year, announced their separation in October 2015.
In a joint statement to Yahoo.com, they expressed their decision to part ways with heavy hearts. They emphasized their commitment to co-parenting and the well-being of their son.
It wasn’t until a year later that a judge officially declared them single. However, the matter of custody and support remained unresolved.
A New Chapter and a Better Mother
Since then, Halle Berry has found love with her current partner, Van Hunt. In an interview with Women’s Health magazine in 2021, Berry credited her relationship with Hunt for making her a better mother.
Berry, who is also a mother to 15-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela from a previous relationship, expressed her fulfillment and happiness in her personal and maternal roles. She emphasized the importance of self-care and being fundamentally happy to be the best mother she can be.
As Halle Berry moves forward with her life, she continues to prioritize her children’s well-being and her own happiness.
