‘Get In The Closet!’: Horrifying Video Shows Armed Robbers Targeting Elderly Couple During Home Invasion

Law enforcement officials have identified two men suspected of targeting an elderly couple during an armed robbery this week in Portsmouth, Virginia.

The Portsmouth Police Department said they are looking for 25-year-old Mitchell Boney Jr. and 22-year-old Tyree Demont Boney Jr., both in connection to an armed robbery that took place on Wednesday. They are wanted for armed burglary, use of a firearm, abduction, and conspiracy to commit a burglary.

The police department released video of the incident that showed the two men entering the home of an elderly man and woman and pointing handguns at them while yelling at them to get in the closet.

“Get in the crib, don’t say nothing,” one of the men tells the couple. “Don’t say nothing. Y’all get in the closet. Get in the closet right now. Get in the closet, I’m not f***ing playing. Get in the closet right now. Get in the closet. Hurry up.”

Police said that the suspects stole a safe and wallet from the couple’s residence.

“I am actually pleased to report that we have secured warrants involved in that home invasion,” Portsmouth Police Chief Stephen Jenkins said. “I mean to be pushed into a closet against your will, or make you do anything. I think anyone would feel violated and helpless to defend themselves.”
