SAN FRANCISCO—Criminal Case Against Former University Student Accused of Stabbings Put on Hold
The highly anticipated criminal case against Carlos Dominguez, a former Northern California university student, has hit a roadblock. Prosecutors have agreed that Dominguez is currently incompetent to stand trial for the charges related to the brutal attacks that resulted in the deaths of two individuals and the injury of a third.
The judge presiding over the case made the decision to dismiss the jurors on Monday, abruptly halting what would have been the fifth day of Dominguez’s competency trial.
