An Ex-Department⁢ of Defense Official Makes Startling Claims About UFOs

In a recent interview, Christopher Mellon, a former ‌deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence and Senate staffer, revealed ⁢some astonishing information about⁣ UFOs. Mellon stated that officials within‍ the Department of Defense and former intelligence officials have informed him that the United States has recovered technology that did not originate on Earth.

Congressional Hearing Aims to Shed Light on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena

A congressional hearing, organized by the House Oversight subcommittee, is scheduled for Wednesday to address the issue of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs). The hearing will feature testimony from two former Navy pilots who claim⁣ to have witnessed inexplicable flying objects that defy the laws of physics during training exercises.

Additionally, David Grusch, a U.S. military and intelligence veteran, will testify. Grusch has publicly alleged that crafts of non-human origin have been retrieved and withheld from Congress. ‍Christopher Mellon ⁣supports Grusch’s claims, stating that he has been informed by officials within the Department of Defense and former intelligence officials about the recovery of extraterrestrial technology.

Mellon anticipates that Grusch ‍will ⁣provide new information during the hearing, but acknowledges that legal restrictions prevent him from disclosing certain details, including the identities of intelligence personnel involved in the matter. Mellon emphasizes the⁢ importance of obtaining further information from the Intelligence Community inspector general, with whom Grusch ‌has filed‌ a whistleblower complaint.

Increasing ‌Interest in UAPs ⁤Spurs Calls for Disclosure

As public interest in unanswered questions about UAPs grows, lawmakers have begun advocating for legislation that encourages greater transparency and disclosure. However, the Department of Defense has maintained⁤ that its All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims of extraterrestrial material possession or ⁢reverse-engineering programs.

Mellon argues that there is a contradiction between statements made by ⁣AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick, who claims his office has not been denied any information, and the claims made by other ‍individuals. ‌He suggests that Congress must navigate⁤ this conflict and asserts that having AARO lead the investigation into recovered technology presents an inherent conflict of interest.
