United Airlines has lifted its nationwide ground stop, allowing flights to resume.

United⁢ Airlines has ⁤ceased all nationwide flights on Tuesday.‍ The restriction was‌ lifted an hour later.

The disruption followed one of the busiest⁢ travel weekends of‍ the year.

According to ⁣the ⁣Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the airline issued the nationwide stop‌ due⁢ to a technological⁢ computer issue.

The hour delay affected 211⁤ flights nationwide. Flights⁢ that ​were in the air at ⁤the time of the halt were‍ not affected.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) previously stated that there were ‍46,751 flights ⁢scheduled in all ‍of the U.S. on Tuesday.
