Upon entering Israeli territory, the hostages were immediately met by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service. They underwent an initial medical assessment and will be accompanied by IDF soldiers as they make their way to Israeli hospitals to be reunited with their families. The IDF and the entire Israeli security establishment are committed to ensuring the safe return of all the hostages.
