European Space Agency Plans First Launch of Ariane 6

In an online news conference, Director General Josef⁣ Aschbacher announced that the European Space Agency is setting a target period for the first launch of the delayed Ariane 6. After completing a series of engine tests in early October, the agency aims to debut Europe’s new launcher “not too late” in 2024. Aschbacher expressed confidence in the progress made and the potential for‍ a successful launch.
