So that should put to bed any idea that Merrick Garland is doing anybody any favors, he’s not showing, as he said, any favor or any fear of being independent,” Swalwell explained. “I hope that makes people feel better about how he’s making decisions with the former president and how he’s making decisions regarding the current president’s son.”
It is worth noting that Hunter Biden, the son of the current president, has also been indicted on firearm charges. He allegedly lied on his application to purchase a Colt Cobra in 2018, and the charges were filed just before the statute of limitations expired.
