Elon Musk pledges to fight companies penalizing employees for X involvement.
Elon Musk Stands Up for X Users
X owner Elon Musk is taking a stand against unfair treatment of users on his social media platform. In a bold move, Musk announced that his company will cover the legal expenses of anyone who faces repercussions from their employers due to their X activity.
Musk stated, “If you were unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform, we will fund your legal bill. No limit. Please let us know.”
But Musk didn’t stop there. He also declared that his company will launch a public relations war against companies that punish their employees for their actions on X.
Musk tweeted, “And we won’t just sue, it will be extremely loud and we will go after the boards of directors of the companies too.”

X Fights Back Against Non-Profit
X recently filed a lawsuit against a non-profit organization, accusing it of unlawfully accessing private data and selectively showcasing hate speech on the platform.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges that the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) orchestrated a “scare campaign” to drive away advertisers from X by publishing reports on hate speech.
CCDH has done this by engaging in a series of unlawful acts designed to improperly gain access to protected X Corp. data, needed by CCDH so that it could cherry-pick from the hundreds of millions of posts made each day on X and falsely claim it had statistical support showing the platform is overwhelmed with harmful content,” the lawsuit reads.
The lawsuit comes after X attorney Alex Spiro sent a letter threatening legal action against the non-profit organization, accusing them of making baseless claims to harm X and its advertising business.
