Charlamagne Tha God Calls Out President Joe Biden for Inauthentic Behavior at Black Caucus Event
Radio host Charlamagne Tha God didn’t hold back in labeling President Joe Biden the “Donkey of The Day” for his inauthentic behavior at a recent Black Caucus event.

“Donkey of the Day for Monday, September 25th goes to the 46th President of the United States of America, Joe Biden,” Charlamagne declared. “A lot of people are upset that Joe Biden referred to LL Cool J as a ‘boy.’ You see, ‘boy’ is absolutely a white racist word when used in a certain context.”
Charlamagne also pointed out that Biden got LL Cool J’s name wrong, calling him “LL J Cool J.” He emphasized that LL Cool J is a globally recognized celebrity and not someone unfamiliar to Biden.
“This is a prime example of it doesn’t matter how many black people you are around, doesn’t matter how many black people you have in your administration, doesn’t matter how many black people you have writing for you, if it’s not authentic to him, then it won’t come off as authentic to anyone,” Charlamagne passionately expressed.
“Y’all keep trying to make this 197-year-old man sound cool simply because he’s talking to black people, and there’s nothing more uncool than someone trying too hard to be cool,” Charlamagne continued. “That is President Joe Biden.”

Event, which took place on September 21, 2021, President Biden addressed the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual legislative conference. The conference is a widely anticipated event that brings together policymakers, thought leaders, and activists to discuss and advocate for issues affecting the African American community.
Charlamagne Tha God, who is known for his outspokenness and his ability to hold individuals accountable, took aim at President Biden for what he perceived as insincerity during his speech. In a scathing critique on his radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” Charlamagne called out the President for his lack of authenticity and suggested that he was merely pandering to the Black community.
One of the main criticisms levied by Charlamagne was President Biden’s reference to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a landmark piece of legislation that outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Charlamagne argued that President Biden’s mention of the Act was a distraction tactic and accused him of failing to focus on the pressing issues facing the African American community today.
The radio host highlighted that President Biden failed to address critical concerns such as police brutality, criminal justice reform, economic inequality, and voting rights. Instead, Charlamagne found President Biden’s emphasis on the past to be a strategic move to divert attention away from these pressing issues that are still plaguing Black communities across America.
Charlamagne’s criticism of President Biden’s behavior at the Black Caucus event reflects a broader sentiment within the African American community. Many individuals feel that politicians often engage in performative acts of support without implementing tangible policies to address systemic issues.
Moreover, Charlamagne’s critique challenges the notion that politicians can simply rely on symbolic gestures to maintain support from minority communities. He argues that authenticity and meaningful action are necessary to address the needs and concerns of these communities genuinely.
This critique also highlights the importance of holding elected officials accountable, regardless of party affiliation. Charlamagne’s willingness to call out President Biden, despite being a Democrat himself, sends a powerful message that community leaders and advocates should not hesitate to challenge those in power when they fail to uphold their promises.
It is crucial to recognize and address the concerns of the African American community and other marginalized communities. True progress can only be achieved through sincere engagement, policy implementations, and a genuine commitment to create a more equitable society.
Charlamagne Tha God’s critique of President Biden’s behavior at the Black Caucus event serves as a reminder that performative gestures are not enough to effect meaningful change. It is essential for politicians to demonstrate authenticity and address the pressing issues faced by communities they claim to support.
As the African American community continues to fight for justice and equality, it is critical for leaders to listen, understand, and act on the concerns of these communities. Only through genuine efforts and comprehensive policies can we hope to create a more just and inclusive society for all.
