Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) made a powerful statement of support for former President Donald Trump as he surrendered himself at the Fulton County Jail on Thursday. The congresswoman, born and raised in Georgia, greeted and spoke to Trump supporters behind a barricade as they gathered to show their solidarity.

“The reason why I’m here is because this is my home state. I was born and raised in the state of Georgia, and I’m here as a Georgian,” Greene passionately expressed outside the jail.
She further demonstrated her unwavering support for Trump on X, formerly known as Twitter, by posting an altered mug shot that caught the attention of many.
Investigation into Fulton County District Attorney
Not only did Greene show her support for Trump, but she also announced that Republican House members have launched an investigation into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Speaking to the press, Greene stated, “We’re launching an investigation into Fani Willis through the judiciary committee. House GOP members are going to make sure she loses her job.”
