Don Lemon Indicted By Grand Jury For Terrorizing Christians
In a step toward accountability, a grand jury indicted former CNN host Don Lemon over his involvement in a leftist-led storming of a Minnesota church earlier this month. The indictment led to Lemon’s arrest at the hands of federal authorities on Friday morning.
“At my direction, early this morning federal agents arrested Don Lemon, Trahern Jeen Crews, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lydell Lundy, in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota,” Attorney General Pam Bondi announced in an X post.
Lemon’s attorney Abbe Lowell also confirmed the arrest of his client. In a statement, Lowell claimed that Lemon was detained Thursday evening while covering the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California and that his “constitutionally protected” conduct in the aforementioned church storming “was no different than what he has always done” as a media figure.
“The First Amendment exists to protect journalists whose role it is to shine light on the truth and hold those in power accountable. There is no more important time for people like Don to be doing this work,” Lowell said. “Instead of investigating the federal agents who killed two peaceful Minnesota protesters, the Trump Justice Department is devoting its time, attention and resources to this arrest, and that is the real indictment of wrongdoing in this case. This unprecedented attack on the First Amendment and transparent attempt to distract attention from the many crises facing this administration will not stand. Don will fight these charges vigorously and thoroughly in court.”

The arrest comes after Lemon livestreamed his participation in a leftist-led storming of St. Paul’s Cities Church earlier this month. The agitators reportedly believed one of the church’s pastors was a member of ICE.
For his part, Lemon harassed the church’s head pastor about why he wasn’t on board with allowing the left-wing anarchists to disrupt his congregation’s worship service. Despite claiming afterwards that he has “no affiliation to that organization” and “didn’t even know they were going to this church until we followed them there,” the former CNN host seemingly telegraphed his knowledge of what the disruptors were planning to do ahead of the incident.
“We don’t know what’s happening. We kind of do, but we don’t know how it’s going to play out … we’ll get to see what happens after this, sort of surprise,” Lemon reportedly told viewers in video posted to YouTube. “We just found out about this this morning. … I’m just trying to figure out if it’s best for me to go inside so I can tell what happened.”
Lemon would later dare federal authorities to arrest him for his participation in the disruption and turn him “into the new Jimmy Kimmel.” He also seemingly smeared Cities Church as being rooted in “white supremacy” during an appearance on a left-wing podcast.
“There is a certain degree of racism there and there’s a certain degree of entitlement,” Lemon said. “I think people who are, you know, in religious groups like that — it’s not the type of Christianity that I practice, but I think that they’re entitled and that that entitlement comes from a supremacy, a white supremacy, and they think that this country was built for them, that it is a Christian country, when actually we left England because we wanted religious freedom.”
“It’s religious freedom, but only if you’re a Christian and only if you’re a white male, pretty much,” he added.
Additional details surrounding Lemon’s arrest will be made public “soon,” according to Bondi.
