DeSantis clashes with reporter over Trump’s 2020 loss.

Republican presidential⁢ candidate Ron DeSantis engaged in a fiery exchange with a reporter during a recent interview. The reporter, Dasha Burns from NBC ⁢News, asked DeSantis a direct question: “Did Donald Trump lose the⁤ 2020 election?”

DeSantis responded with ⁤a clever remark, saying, ⁢”Whoever‌ puts their hand on the Bible on January 20th every four years is the winner.” However, Burns pressed ‌him further, pointing out that he didn’t provide a clear answer. DeSantis then admitted, “No, of course he lost. Joe Biden is the president.”

DeSantis went on to‍ express his concerns about the election, stating that it wasn’t a well-run process and‍ that Republicans didn’t fight back effectively. He criticized the⁤ funding of mail-in ballots and emphasized the need for a stronger ⁤response.

NBC News plans to air portions of the interview throughout the day, allowing viewers to witness the⁣ intense exchange firsthand.
