DeSantis shakes up team, replaces campaign manager.
Gov. Ron DeSantis Appoints New Campaign Manager as Presidential Bid Gains Momentum
Exciting news from the world of politics! Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has made a strategic move to boost his presidential campaign. With his bid currently experiencing a slight stall in the polls, DeSantis has chosen a new campaign manager to lead the charge.
James Uthmeier, DeSantis’s trusted chief of staff during his time as governor, has been handpicked for this crucial role. Uthmeier will be replacing Generra Peck, who will now serve as the chief strategist for the campaign.
A Winning Team for a Winning Campaign
According to DeSantis campaign spokesman Andrew Romeo, Uthmeier’s appointment is a strategic decision to ensure the governor’s success in the upcoming primary and his ultimate goal of defeating Joe Biden.
“James Uthmeier has been one of Gov. DeSantis’s top advisers for years, and he is needed where it matters most: working hand in hand with Generra Peck and the rest of the team to put the governor in the best possible position to win this primary and defeat Joe Biden,” Romeo told the Washington Examiner.
But Uthmeier is not the only addition to the campaign team. Last month, DeSantis promoted Ethan Eilon to the position of deputy campaign manager, and now David Polyansky will join as deputy campaign manager as well.
“David Polyansky will also be a critical addition to the team given his presidential campaign experience in Iowa and work at Never Back Down,” Romeo said. ”We are excited about these additions as we continue to spread the governor’s message across the country. It’s time to reverse our nation’s decline and revive America’s future.”
DeSantis’s Winning Track Record
Uthmeier, in an interview with the Messenger, expressed confidence in DeSantis’s ability to overcome any challenges. He highlighted the governor’s past victories, including his triumph over establishment candidate Adam Putnam in the primary, his defeat of media-favored candidate Andrew Gillum in 2018, and his impressive 20-point win over Charlie Crist in 2022.
“People have written Gov. DeSantis’s obituary many times,” Uthmeier stated. “He’s breaking records on fundraising and has a supporting super PAC with $100 million in the bank and an incredible ground game. Get ready.”
With a strong team in place and a proven track record of success, Gov. Ron DeSantis is ready to take his campaign to new heights. Keep an eye on this rising star as he aims to reverse the nation’s decline and revive America’s future.
