DeSantis and Ramaswamy campaigns see donation surge post-debate.

Governor Ron DeSantis and presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy‍ have announced that both of‌ their campaigns ⁣have experienced a fundraising surge after the Wednesday GOP debate.

On Thursday, DeSantis’ (R-Fla.) campaign ​manager James Uthmeier spoke to the press about how they reportedly had over $1 million ⁣that was ⁤donated⁣ in just a day after the debate.

“Ron DeSantis showed Wednesday night that he is a proven leader who will deliver results as president, and we⁣ are thrilled with the flood of support‌ we have received since his debate victory,” Uthmeier⁤ said. “We look forward to building on this momentum in the weeks ‍and months ahead as the governor continues to outwork everyone in ⁤this race as he lays out his vision ⁣to reverse our nation’s decline and revive the‌ American Dream.”

Ramasway also reportedly saw ‍a big surge of ​donations after the debate.

According to the press, his campaign had​ $460,000 on debate night and‌ $600,000 the next⁤ day, bringing his‌ total to $1 million⁣ in 24 hours as well.

Due to the refusal of signing the loyalty pledge,‌ 45th President ⁢Donald Trump did not participate in the GOP debate.

The campaigns of former Vice President Mike Pence,⁢ former South Carolina Governor Nikki‌ Haley, Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), former New Jersey ‌Governor Chris ​Christie, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Governor Doug Burgum​ (R-N.D.) have not released any ⁤information about their fundraising ‍numbers after the debate.

According to⁤ results of⁣ polls⁤ conducted by FiveThirtyEight and Ipsos, it was reportedly ⁣found that 29% of ⁢respondents thought DeSantis won the debate, while 26% viewed Ramaswamy as the winner. This​ was followed by Haley with 15%, Pence came ‌in fourth with‍ 7% support, followed by Scott and Christie, who tied at 4%.
