On Monday, 67-year-old Larry Rudolph was sentenced to ⁤life in ‍prison for⁤ fatally ⁢shooting his wife in order to ⁢take advantage of her life insurance. He had planned to run away with his secret mistress.

His mistress, 65-year-old Lori Milliron, is‌ serving 17⁢ years after being sentenced in June for encouraging the⁤ murder.

In 2016, Larry and his wife, 57-year-old ‌Bethany Rudolph, went on a safari trip where Larry claims she “accidently” shot herself while she ⁣was ⁢packing her bags. However, Larry’s false narrative was easily proven wrong.

He reportedly put the⁣ weapon in its soft case after shooting his wife to make it appear as though she had “shot herself while packing.”

He then allegedly cashed in nearly $5 million in insurance policies from his wife, as ⁤he wanted to ⁣live⁢ a lavish⁢ retirement⁣ with his longtime girlfriend using the money.

“The murder ⁤was the culmination of ‌a⁣ lifetime spent seeking domination and control over ⁣others through wealth and power,” prosecutors ⁢said in a court filing outlining their sentencing proposal.

Rudolph⁢ was arrested nearly five ‌years after her death as ⁣a ⁣result of an FBI investigation that dispatched investigators all over the world collecting evidence and ‍interviewing ⁢witnesses.

A bartender ‍at a steakhouse in Phoenix, where Milliron moved to be with Rudolph following Bianca’s death, overheard Rudolph remark, “I ⁢killed my f*****g‌ wife for ‌you!” during‌ a fight in the restaurant in ⁢early 2020.

However, Rudolph testified that he actually⁤ said⁤ “now they’re saying I killed‍ my f*****g wife for you!” after learning that the FBI was investigating him.

According to Rudolph’s attorneys, the total penalty amount exceeds million.

He claims that he cannot afford‍ it since he‌ no ‍longer has control of his ⁢diminishing dental practice, owes “a lot of money,” and will never be able to earn more.

Prosecutors argued that even after paying restitution, penalties, and having his property taken, Rudolph would still have ‍millions of dollars. They claim Rudolph claimed to be worth $27 million before going on trial.
