Democrat Says Quiet Part About Trump on Live TV, Walks It Back After He’s Called Out
Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that former President Donald Trump is a force to be reckoned with, especially as we approach the 2024 general election.
Trump still holds significant influence within the GOP, and it’s clear that Democrats are genuinely afraid of him – so much so that some even wish him dead.
During a recent appearance on “Inside with Jen Psaki,” Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman made a shocking statement that revealed just how deep his disdain for Trump runs.
Goldman claimed that every time Trump speaks, he digs himself into a deeper criminal hole, but his true objective is purely political. However, Goldman’s rhetoric took a dangerous turn when he suggested that Trump needed to be ”eliminated.”
Imagine the outrage if a Republican had made such a statement about President Biden. The media would be in an uproar, and calls for punishment would be relentless. But because Goldman is a Trump-hating Democrat, he will likely get away with a half-hearted apology.
Yesterday on TV, I mistakenly used the wrong word to express the importance for America that Donald Trump doesn’t become President again.
While he must be defeated, I certainly wish no harm to him and do not condone political violence.
I apologize for the poor choice of words.
— Daniel Goldman (@danielsgoldman) November 20, 2023
Goldman’s apology may be the end of the story, as there likely won’t be any real consequences for his alarming statement. The double standard in the media is clear when it comes to politics.
However, the fact that Democrats are openly discussing Trump’s demise, whether literal or political, reveals their deep fear of him. This could mean trouble for Trump as the road to the 2024 general election promises to be a wild one.

What are the potential consequences of making extreme remarks about political figures, such as Trump, without facing significant accountability?
, Trump still has significant influence within the GOP, and it’s clear that Democrats are genuinely afraid of him, to the point where some even wish him dead. This was exemplified through a recent appearance on “Inside with Jen Psaki,” where Democratic New York Representative Dan Goldman made a shocking statement that revealed his deep disdain for Trump.
During the interview, Goldman claimed that every time Trump speaks, he further entangles himself in criminal activities, but also emphasized that Trump’s true objective is purely political. However, Goldman’s rhetoric took an alarming turn when he suggested that Trump needed to be “eliminated,” indicating a desire for harm to come to the former president.
Such a statement is highly inappropriate and unacceptable in any political discourse. Imagine the outrage that would ensue if a Republican had made a similar statement about President Biden. The media and public outcry would be relentless, with demands for swift punishment. However, because Goldman is a Trump-hating Democrat, it is likely that he will get away with a half-hearted apology.
This incident highlights the double standard that exists in our political landscape. It showcases how some individuals feel comfortable making extreme remarks about Trump, while simultaneously expecting accountability and consequences for similar comments made by those they oppose.
Political differences should never justify or excuse advocating harm towards any individual. While disagreements and debates are an essential part of a healthy democracy, it is crucial that we do so respectfully and within the boundaries of acceptable discourse.
In this case, it is disappointing to witness a Democratic representative stoop to such levels and then swiftly backtrack after facing backlash. It undermines the principle of constructive dialogue and further polarizes our already divided nation.
As we approach the 2024 general election, it is essential that we focus on productive debates about policy issues, leadership qualities, and the future direction of our country. Resorting to personal attacks and expressing desires for harm only serves to hinder progress and deepen divisions.
We must demand better from our elected officials and expect them to engage in respectful and substantive discussions. Regardless of our political affiliations, we should hold all individuals accountable for their words and actions, promoting a culture of civility and unity.
In conclusion, Dan Goldman’s recent remark about Trump on live TV is a stark reminder of the heated political climate we currently find ourselves in. It is crucial that we strive for a more respectful and constructive discourse, ensuring that our democratic values, such as freedom of speech, are upheld while maintaining a commitment to common decency and respect for all individuals.
