A male was shot at the Brookland-Catholic University of America Metro station on Thursday afternoon in Washington, D.C.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the shooting and is advising anyone with information to call 911. Photo evidence shows a male victim being treated on the platform. The victim, a teenager, died, the Washington Post reported after speaking with two D.C. officials.

Police released a photo of the suspect, describing him as a black male with a black jacket, black hoody, gray square backpack, light blue jeans, and black and white shoes.
An MPD spokesperson told the Washington Examiner at 3:59 p.m. that police were notified of an unconscious male who was not breathing. The homicide team has been notified and is responding.
