Dad loses gun permit for defending family in home intruder shoot-out, caught on camera.
A Los Angeles Man Loses Concealed Carry Permit After Heroically Defending His Family
A Los Angeles man who bravely fought back to protect his home and family has been unjustly stripped of his concealed carry permit.
Vince Ricci, a resident of Los Angeles, had his permit revoked after using his weapon to defend his home from armed robbers, as reported by the Post Millennial.
According to Fox News, Ricci expressed his frustration, stating, “After successfully defending my home and my family and my 5-month-old child, California has now decided to suspend my Second Amendment.”
He further added, “The leftist gun grabbers do not care about your safety. The NRA does.”
Vince Ricci was coming back to his LA home on a quiet evening when two robbers jumped his wall and pointed guns at his chest.
But they weren’t ready for what was about to happen. He had a gun of his own and defended himself.

However, the sheriff’s office claims that the revocation of Ricci’s permit was due to his behavior towards the Los Angeles Police Department officers who arrived to investigate the incident.
Ricci admitted to accusing the officers of “sloppy police” work, as they failed to collect casings near his home as evidence.
On November 4, two armed men attempted to break into Ricci’s house while his wife, 5-month-old daughter, and the family’s nanny were inside. Ricci courageously fought back.
Expressing his frustration, Ricci said, “My situation is unique because it happened at my front door, all on camera. But this happens time and time again all over the country… The fact is, evil will always exist.”

Ricci firmly believes that his actions were an act of self-defense, as the two men were pointing guns at him. He also mentioned that his neighborhood had experienced previous incidents of crime, including a break-in at a neighbor’s house the night before.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) has voiced its support for Ricci, with spokesman Billy McLaughlin stating, “His decisive actions to protect his wife and daughter embody the core principles that NRA members fight for every day.”

Ricci strongly criticized the current state of Los Angeles, referring to it as a “war zone.” He highlighted a case where a father was killed due to the release of a violent criminal by District Attorney Gascón. He emphasized that this was just one of many cases in the city.
Vince Ricci had his conceal carry permit temporarily revoked after defending himself and his family against armed robbers. This is what a communist country does. Mr. Ricci’s constitutional rights have been violated.

Russell Stuart, the owner of Beverly Hills Guns, highlighted the challenges faced by homeowners in protecting their homes in modern-day California.
Stuart expressed his disappointment with the punishment imposed on Ricci, stating, “The fact that anyone, our politicians, our law enforcement officers, our district attorney could see this man as anything but a hero defending his family is absolutely disgusting.”
He further added, “What message is this sending to the community, especially the Jewish community, that if you defend yourself on your own property against armed assailants, you might face prosecution?”

As the debate over gun control continues, stories like Vince Ricci’s shed light on the challenges faced by law-abiding citizens who use their firearms for self-defense. While it is important to ensure public safety, it is equally crucial to consider the rights and freedoms of responsible gun owners.
The revocation of Ricci’s concealed carry permit raises questions about the balance of power between citizens and the government. Shouldn’t individuals have the right to protect themselves and their families from harm? And shouldn’t their actions be recognized and commended, rather than punished?
