Dad loses gun permit for defending family in home intruder shoot-out, caught on camera.
A Los Angeles Man Loses Concealed Carry Permit After Heroically Defending His Family
A Los Angeles man who bravely fought back to protect his home and family has been unjustly stripped of his concealed carry permit.
Vince Ricci, a resident of Los Angeles, had his permit revoked after using his weapon to defend his home from armed robbers, as reported by the Post Millennial.
According to Fox News, Ricci expressed his frustration, stating, “After successfully defending my home and my family and my 5-month-old child, California has now decided to suspend my Second Amendment.”
He further added, “The leftist gun grabbers do not care about your safety. The NRA does.”
Vince Ricci was coming back to his LA home on a quiet evening when two robbers jumped his wall and pointed guns at his chest.
But they weren’t ready for what was about to happen. He had a gun of his own and defended himself.

However, the sheriff’s office claims that the revocation of Ricci’s permit was due to his behavior towards the Los Angeles Police Department officers who arrived to investigate the incident.
Ricci admitted to accusing the officers of “sloppy police” work, as they failed to collect casings near his home as evidence.
On November 4, two armed men attempted to break into Ricci’s house while his wife, 5-month-old daughter, and the family’s nanny were inside. Ricci courageously fought back.
Expressing his frustration, Ricci said, “My situation is unique because it happened at my front door, all on camera. But this happens time and time again all over the country… The fact is, evil will always exist.”

Absolute insanity.

Ricci firmly believes that his actions were an act of self-defense, as the two men were pointing guns at him. He also mentioned that his neighborhood had experienced previous incidents of crime, including a break-in at a neighbor’s house the night before.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) has voiced its support for Ricci, with spokesman Billy McLaughlin stating, “His decisive actions to protect his wife and daughter embody the core principles that NRA members fight for every day.”
On Nov. 4, California homeowner Vince Ricci pulled out a gun after masked thugs tried robbing him as he entered his home.
He protected his wife and 5-month-old baby, who were inside.

Ricci strongly criticized the current state of Los Angeles, referring to it as a “war zone.” He highlighted a case where a father was killed due to the release of a violent criminal by District Attorney Gascón.
According to Ricci, “Right here in L.A., an innocent L.A. father was killed because District Attorney Gascón released a violent criminal back into the streets. And this is just one of the dozens of cases right here in this city.”
Vince Ricci had his conceal carry permit temporarily revoked after defending himself and his family against armed robbers. This is what a communist country does. Mr. Ricci’s constitutional rights have been violated.

Russell Stuart, the owner of Beverly Hills Guns, emphasized the challenges faced by homeowners in protecting their homes in present-day California.
Stuart stated, “These people are coming heavily armed with fully loaded weapons. And as the evidence shows, they are prepared and will, and did, use them. So, this man had to defend his family, had to defend himself. He was on his own property against armed assailants.”
Stuart strongly disagreed with the punishment imposed on Ricci, calling it “absolutely disgusting.” He also expressed concerns about the message this sends to the community, particularly the Jewish community, regarding self-defense on their own property.

Does the revocation of Vince Ricci’s permit set a dangerous precedent, potentially making citizens hesitant to intervene in dangerous situations for fear of legal repercussions, or does it send a necessary message about the responsibility and consequences of using a concealed weapon in self-defense
T-day Los Angeles. He stated, “Homeowners in Los Angeles are facing increasing dangers and threats to their safety. It is crucial for individuals to have the ability to defend themselves and their families in such situations. Revoking someone’s concealed carry permit after they have used their weapon in a legitimate act of self-defense sends a dangerous message and undermines the fundamental right to protect oneself.”
The incident involving Vince Ricci has sparked a wider discussion about the rights and responsibilities of gun owners in Los Angeles and beyond. Proponents of gun control argue that stricter regulations are essential to prevent firearms from falling into the wrong hands and to reduce gun violence. However, cases like Ricci’s highlight the potential negative consequences of these regulations, as law-abiding citizens can be penalized for simply exercising their right to self-defense.
