Country Singer Elle King Opens Up About Her Weight Loss Journey
Country singer Elle King recently addressed a significant change in her appearance, reassuring her fans that it wasn’t due to weight loss surgery or popular medications like Ozempic.
At her heaviest, the 34-year-old singer weighed 284 pounds after giving birth to her son Lucky in September 2021.
In an Instagram post, King shared her journey from 284 lbs to her current weight, stating, ”It doesn’t happen overnight. It didn’t even happen in a year for me. In fact, it’s an ongoing, still working towards everweight loss medication to achieve her new appearance.”>-changing goals kinda thing.”
She revealed that she experienced deep depression during her pregnancy and struggled with postpartum depression. “I felt trapped in my body. I couldn’t even sing,” she confessed.

Elle King, best known for her hit single “Ex’s & Oh’s,” is the daughter of actor Rob Schneider.
She shared some of the methods she used to achieve her weight loss, including spending more time in the gym.

She explained, “I started slow with metabolic workouts and light cardio to warm up my body, my lungs, my voice, and my spirit. I changed my f***ing habits and gradually added more workouts. I also exercise with @pauldominic_, who is basically a bodybuilder,” King continued, accompanied by photos of her working out.
She encouraged others to find activities they enjoy, such as riding a bike or swimming, and emphasized the positive impact exercise has on her mental well-being.
King made it clear that she is not on any weight loss medication and shared her personal health struggles, including having PCOS and being pre-diabetic. She expressed her desire to live a long, healthy life filled with joy and laughter.
