A Riverside County Woman Sentenced for EDD Debit Card Theft
A Riverside County woman, Michalea Barksdale, also known as Miichii Bee, has been sentenced to two years behind bars for her involvement in a case of stolen state Employment Development Department (EDD) debit cards. Barksdale, 34, from Corona, was found guilty of using these stolen cards to withdraw funds from bank cash machines.
The sentencing, which took place on August 7, also included additional penalties. Barksdale has been ordered to pay restitution of $253,041 and forfeit $16,020, as directed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
