Congressional RINO criticized by Real Conservatives in Comments on America First Movement.
Republican Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska Faces Backlash for Dismissing America First Movement
During a recent interview on X, Republican Rep. Don Bacon made a comment that not only showed his lack of historical knowledge but also revealed his disconnect from the Republican base. Bacon referred to the America First movement as a failed relic of the past, comparing it to the 1930s. This comment sparked a wave of indignation and mockery from Twitter users.
Right out of the 1930s! Didn’t work out Bruh.

Many users criticized Bacon’s dismissive attitude, with some even calling for his removal from Congress. Others pointed out that his comment was reminiscent of the establishment Republicans who have been out of touch with the party’s base.
You ought to be removed from Congress…bruh.posted

It is clear that Bacon’s comment struck a nerve with many Republican voters who support the America First movement. Some even mentioned the possibility of supporting a primary challenger in the next election.
Right out of the RINO handbook! Your days in office are numbered, bruh.

While some comments focused on mocking Bacon’s use of the term “bruh,” others challenged him on the substance of his statement. Midwest Mom, a prominent conservative commentator, questioned Bacon’s belief that America shouldn’t be first.
I’m going to act like you didn’t just say “bruh” as a sitting US Congressman and get to the real question:
Putting America first is “right out of the 1930’s” and “didn’t work out”?
I would love to hear more about how you believe America shouldn’t be first.

Bacon’s comment is just the latest in a series of actions that have alienated Republican voters. From threatening to support a stopgap funding bill to voting against preferred speaker candidates, Bacon has shown a disregard for the concerns of his constituents.
Ultimately, Bacon’s dismissal of the America First movement highlights his historical ignorance and his willingness to put America’s interests last. This stance is out of touch with the majority of Republican voters who support the movement and prioritize America’s well-being.
As the backlash against Bacon continues to grow, one question remains: Why does he still identify as a Republican?
