Chris Rock, the comedian, escaped ‘Burning Man’ and walked 6 miles until he got a ride.
Comedian Chris Rock’s Epic Escape from Burning Man
Comedian Chris Rock found himself in a sticky situation at the flooded and muddy Burning Man festival. But fear not, because he embarked on an unforgettable adventure alongside DJ and songwriter Diplo.
After trudging through the treacherous terrain for six miles, Rock and Diplo were saved by a kind-hearted fan who offered them a ride in the bed of a pickup truck. Diplo captured the entire roadside rescue in a video shared on his Instagram account.

“A fan offered Chris Rock and I a ride out of Burning Man in the back of a pickup after walking six miles through the mud,” Diplo revealed in the video. “All Chris could think about was a f***ing cold brew.”
Diplo and Rock were just two of the many festival-goers attempting to escape the flooded festival that has caused chaos and left one person dead. The Black Rock Desert in Nevada, where the annual weeklong event takes place, was hit by heavy rain and flash flooding, leaving thousands stranded.
The conditions were so severe that local officials had to close the festival’s entrance, leaving attendees stuck until the situation improved. Even after the rain stopped, ankle-deep mud made it difficult for people to leave.
Due to recent rainfall, the Bureau of Land Management and the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office officials have closed the entrance to Burning Man for the remainder of the event. Please avoid traveling to the area; you will be turned around. All event access is closed. pic.twitter.com/BY8Rv7eFLD
