House Secures Dates For Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Epstein Testimonies After Couple Dodged Subpoenas

The House Oversight Committee has set deposition dates for Bill and Hillary Clinton in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation after the couple, who had dodged subpoenas and faced a looming contempt vote, agreed to participate. Bill is scheduled to testify on February 27, with Hillary testifying the day prior, and lawmakers gave them a noon deadline to accept a transcription and taped deposition with no time limits; refusal would have led to contempt proceedings. The Clintons’ decision marks a shift from last month, when thay argued the inquiry was invalid and politically motivated in a joint letter to Committee Chair James comer, invoking concerns about partisan politics and referencing actions by Trump and the january 6 Capitol riot.
