Clark County Sheriff’s deputy fatally shot, now identified

Authorities identified a Washington Sheriff’s deputy who was shot and killed in the line of duty. On Saturday, police identified 46-year-old detective Jeremy Brown as the officer who was killed during a shooting at an apartment complex on Friday night.
Detective Brown was a 15 year veteran of the agency. He was reportedly conducting surveillance in his car when he was shot.
Authorities said two persons of interest have been detained and officials have been actively searching for a third suspect. Details surrounding the motive behind the shooting and what took place remains unknown.

Meanwhile, officials say an investigation remains ongoing.
