Christian Convert Kat Von D Says ‘Possessed Person’ Showed Up at Her House the Night She Threw Away Her Occult Books

Christian Convert Kat ‌Von D Says ‘Possessed Person’ Showed Up at ‌Her House the ‌Night She Threw Away Her Occult Books

Tattoo artist‌ Kat Von D recently shared her thoughts on ‍the perception of ⁤demonic influences in⁣ the Christian⁣ community. In an interview with Christian podcast host Allie Beth Stuckey, Von D‌ expressed her⁤ belief that not everything‌ should⁤ be labeled as demonic.

“I just think a lot of people, especially⁤ in⁣ the Christian community, call‍ everything demonic,” Von D said. “and I don’t think everything is demonic.”

However, Von D did encounter a situation that she considered truly demonic. After she posted on social media ⁤about getting rid of books she felt were no longer relevant to her life as a committed‌ follower of Jesus, a man showed up at her house.

“In this ⁣case,” she explained,‍ “I think this⁢ is ⁣a definition of a demon. This person‍ is⁣ possessed and is no longer in control of⁢ what they ⁤would normally do because‌ they’re obsessed either with fame or with the desire to bring certain evils into your life.”

The man had come to her door,‌ desperately asking for the discarded books. Von D described‍ the darkness she saw in his eyes, which deeply unsettled her.

Another person even attempted to rummage through their trash⁤ cans in search of the books. Von D questioned the desperation that ⁢would lead someone to seek⁢ answers in such a place.

“What is it‌ in you ⁢that’s, like, so desperate — ⁣again, ‍trying to find these answers in the wrong places — a literal ⁢trash can.”

This incident served as a sobering ⁣reminder for Von ⁤D, as‍ she reflected on the prominent role these books once had in her own life before she committed ⁢herself to Christ.

Von D’s‌ journey as a Christian has been transformative, and she expressed her ⁣unwavering devotion‍ to Jesus during the podcast interview.

“I’m on fire for ‍Jesus,” she declared.⁣ “I don’t plan on this dimming out. The more and more I learn, the more ‌and ‌more excited I get⁤ about things and the more at ease I am ‍about‌ what’s happening in this world and what’s ⁢happening in my marriage⁤ — in ⁢all of it.”

Von D’s public journey as a Christian has included her baptism and her decision to discard books related ‌to ⁤witchcraft and the occult. She made the post about throwing out these books in July 2022.

“Today, I went through my⁤ entire library,‍ and threw out books that just don’t align with who I am and who ‌I want to be,” ⁣she wrote at the time. “But right now, ⁢it’s never been more clear to me that there is a spiritual battle ⁤taking place, and I want to ‍surround myself and my family with love and light.”

A Note from‌ Our Deputy Managing Editor:

What⁢ if you woke ⁤up‍ one morning and half of the people you count on had just vanished overnight?

That happened to me recently. I got up, came to work here at The Western Journal, and when I got⁣ to my office, literally⁤ half of our readers ⁤had vanished. They were just gone. We had been ‍nuked by Facebook, and ⁣it⁢ had happened almost ‌instantly.

But it was ⁣even worse. Facebook hit us at the same time 90 percent of advertisers had essentially boycotted us. “Brutal” is a word I’ve used a⁣ lot lately.

The fight ‌for the truth is brutal. The fight for ⁤America’s soul is ⁣brutal. What ⁤the government⁢ is doing to Jan. 6 detainees ⁢is brutal. What surgeons are doing to confused children is ⁣brutal.

It’s a fight we must win. But we can’t win without you.

A membership to‌ The Western Journal will ‌go much farther than you think. It costs ‌less than a cup of Starbucks coffee, and for that small price you get access ⁤to ALL of our content news, commentary, and premium‌ articles ⁢you’ll‍ experience a radically reduced⁣ number of ads, and most importantly⁤ you‍ will be vitally‌ supporting the fight against leftism.

Can I count on ⁣you to join today? We need your help. Benjamin Franklin ⁣summed up the situation we’re all facing when he said, “We must all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.”

We ‍plan to hang in‍ and ⁣fight. Please help us. Please become⁣ a ‌member⁢ today.

Sincerely,
