Former ⁢school administrator‌ Tanya Carmella-Beers stated that the 28-year-old temporarily attended a vocational school near his parents’ residence in Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

“He was a leader in his class, he took the class extremely seriously,” she maintained.

A photo from Kohberger’s high school yearbook shows him carefully completing a⁢ workout set as part of the‍ pre-professional training.

However, he was forced to quit the program during ⁢his junior year after a string ⁤of accusations from female classmates were revealed to ⁣administrators.

Carmella-Beers declined to elaborate on the exact ‍nature‌ of the ‌numerous reports but she did say the incidents were “severe.”

“To be removed from a program, it has to be‌ pretty severe,” Carmella-Beers said. “What had him removed from the program, when I look back on it now, makes sense.”

She explained that Kohberger later transitioned to the HVAC program and ultimately decided not to return to the vocational school for his senior year.

After being dismissed, the ‌28-year-old developed a heroin⁢ addiction and ‍lost a lot of weight.‍ He also allegedly went to⁤ rehab at‍ least ⁤once.

Former classmates‌ reportedly remembered that Kohberger was “smart, but slightly odd” especially⁢ around female classmates.

“If he liked or was interested in a girl and she wasn’t, he ⁣didn’t understand why or just didn’t accept her saying no and move on and so he would have⁤ been‌ labeled as a creep or something along those lines,” Dominique Clark, a‍ former classmate, told the press.

Kohberger is awaiting trial ‍on multiple counts of first-degree murder and one‍ count of felony burglary related to the deaths of four University of Idaho students. They are identified as Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20.

The suspect has ‍ pled ‌not guilty ‍ to all charges and his trial is set ‌for October 2nd.
