She acknowledged that she’s not always okay and that she has to put her best foot forward for herself and her family. Taking care of oneself is crucial in order to care for others.
Emma encouraged her followers to take a moment to appreciate something beautiful and find joy in the little things. She expressed gratitude for the support and love she has received.
In 2022, Willis’ family announced his diagnosis of aphasia and his decision to step away from his acting career. However, they later revealed that he has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which has presented additional challenges.
Emma’s message serves as a reminder that self-care is essential in order to be there for the ones we love.
“When we are not looking after ourselves, we are no good to the people we love who we want to show up for and take care of. I don’t have this down to a fine science either, but I try. It’s an affirmation I use daily, so it’s kept in the forefront of my mind. Your pictures, words of support and love for me and my family were felt. Honestly, thank you, it helps.”
