Britney Spears slapped by security while trying to snap photo with NBA star: Report
Britney Spears has reportedly filed a police report after an incident with a member of a security team while trying to take a picture with NBA star Victor Wembanyamar.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night in Las Vegas when the 41-year-old pop singer was at Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hotel and spotted one of her favorite players from the San Antonio Spurs, TMZ reported.
Spears, accompanied by her husband Sam Asghari and two other guests, tried to get Vembanyamar’s attention by tapping him on the back and shoulder. However, she was unexpectedly slapped in the face by Wembanyama’s security, causing her to fall to the ground and lose her glasses.

After the incident, Damian Smith, Wembanyama’s head of security, approached Spears and apologized, explaining that he was startled by the swarm of fans. Spears accepted his apology and returned to her table.
However, reports later emerged that Spears had filed a police report for battery with the Metropolitan Police Department. Law enforcement sources have provided conflicting information about whether the incident will be treated as a criminal matter.
Recently, Spears also addressed false claims that she was using methamphetamine, which were allegedly made by her ex-husband Kevin Federline and reported by the Daily Mail. In a since-deleted post, Spears expressed her sadness and disbelief at these claims, stating that they were untrue and hurtful.
Spears concluded her post by hoping that the news reports were simply spreading hate and that neither Kevin nor their son Preston had made such statements. In November 2021, a judge terminated the conservatorship that Spears had been under since 2008.
