Blagojevich likens Adam Schiff to Elvis Presley: ‘King of the Democratic liars’
Former Illinois Governor Rod blagojevich has made headlines by criticizing the democratic party and singling out Senator Adam Schiff as “the king of the Democratic liars.” He expressed that voters with “common sense” are losing trust in the party, particularly following its initial decision to support President Joe Biden’s nomination. blagojevich argued that Democrats have failed to address significant issues and continue to focus on attacking former President Donald Trump with misleading narratives about various controversies. He emphasized the need for the party to recognize its mistakes and work towards gaining the trust of voters again by prioritizing the needs of the public over politics. Blagojevich also suggested that Democrats should seek common ground with Trump to improve thier standing with constituents. Rep. Ro Khanna echoed these sentiments, advocating for “economic patriotism” to rebuild the party’s image after their electoral losses.
Blagojevich likens Adam Schiff to Elvis Presley: ‘King of the Democratic liars’
Former Democratic Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich argued that voters with “common sense” distrust the Democratic Party, directing special attention to Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for being the “king of the Democratic liars” for frequent attempts to oppose President Donald Trump.
Blagojevich is among the many people criticizing the Democratic Party for initially keeping former President Joe Biden as its nominee, suggesting the public “could see with [their] own eyes” that it was lying while being adamant that Biden could continue serving in office. Following the party’s major loss in 2024, the former governor suggested that Democrats only have “lies about President Trump” to offer voters.
“They’re not talking about anything that matters to the American people except going after Trump time and time again with all these big lies, with this Russian collusion, Stormy Daniels, all of these other things that have already been litigated, and all those fake crimes that they brought against him,” Blagojevich stated on Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime. “No, I think the Democratic Party is in serious trouble because nobody who has any common sense could believe anything they say. And the king of the Democratic liars is Adam Schiff. If there was a hall of fame for liars, like there was a rock-and-roll hall of fame, Adam Schiff would be Elvis.”
Blagojevich also stated that if the party has any “integrity,” its lawmakers should attempt to “atone for their sins” for misleading the public on Biden and seek to “do better moving forward.”
The former governor was later asked what the Democrats’ atonement process looks like, to which he suggested that it take a page out of Sen. John Fetterman’s (D-PA) book and “try to find common ground” with Trump. However, he joked that Democrats should not necessarily “put a hoodie on” — a joke referring to Fetterman’s typical attire in the Senate.
TRUMP CAMPAIGN TEAM RECOGNIZED AS ‘MASTER CLASS’
“Put the people first for a change,” Blagojevich advocated. “Forget about the politics. Get things done for your constituents. The politics will take care of itself.”
Following the Democratic Party’s loss in 2024 and the scrutiny of its initial support to keep Biden as its nominee, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) has suggested that “economic patriotism” is what can help the party regain ground with voters. He also acknowledged that the party needs to “own up” to its original support for Biden seeking reelection.
