Bidenomics’ has negatively impacted more voters, while Trump has benefitted them
The Battle of Economic Policies: Trump vs. Biden
People hold onto memories when it comes to their wallets, and the contrast between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden couldn’t be starker.
As sticky inflation persists and prices skyrocket, voters are reminiscing about the prosperity they experienced before the era of “Bidenomics.”
Rasmussen Reports Survey: Voters Speak Out
The latest survey by Rasmussen Reports, unveiled exclusively to Secrets on Thursday, sheds light on how Americans perceive the economic legacies of the two administrations.
- 35% Democrats, 33% Republicans, and 32% independents participated in the survey.
- By a 48%-37% margin, respondents believed that Biden’s economic policies are inferior to Trump’s.
- Notably, 26% of Democrats and 36% of Black respondents agreed that Biden’s policies fall short.
The Impact of Bidenomics
According to the survey:
- 49% of all voters felt that Bidenomics has personally harmed them.
- Only 28% said it has been beneficial, while 21% reported no noticeable change.
- 41% of Black respondents and 26% of Democrats expressed that Bidenomics has had a negative impact on them.
In a reminiscent nod to a past election cycle, voters were asked to reflect on Trump’s economic initiatives:
46% of respondents perceived Trump’s policies as helpful, 34% as detrimental, and 18% offered no opinion.
Notably, 43% of Black respondents opined that Trump’s policies were beneficial.
Looking Ahead: Trump’s Advantage?
The Trump campaign anticipates that voter sentiment, particularly among Black, Hispanic, and suburban women, will favor the economic conditions under his administration, particularly pre-COVID-19.
Conversely, Biden’s team is ramping up efforts to showcase the current economic landscape positively, although challenges persist as highlighted by the Rasmussen survey.
