Biden Family Got $1 Million From Hunter Associate After China Wire: GOP Oversight Chair

According to Republicans on House Oversight Committee, the Biden family was given more than $1million by an associate connected to Hunter Biden. This associate had wired money from a Chinese state-energy company to fund his account.

John Robinson, John’s associate “Rob” Walker, worked with Hunter Biden, now-whistleblower Tony Bobulinski, and President Joe Biden’s brother James Biden incorporated a joint venture in Delaware in 2017 with the founder of CEFC China Energy, Ye Jianming, according to corporate documents obtained by The Epoch Times in late 2020.

James Comer (Republican Kentucky) stated on Thursday that he obtained new records from Bank of America after subpoenaing it. “at least three family members” Walker-related accounts were paid. The panel released via Twitter a letter (pdf), stating that Walker had received payments.  “Robinson Walker, LLC,” while it noted that Hallie Biden, the widow of President Joe Biden’s son Beau, received some of the payments.

Republicans claimed that the wire was evidence of a Chinese state corporation being linked to the Biden families, but Thursday’s email only stated that the funds were transferred in March 2017 from Walker’s account into the Biden family accounts. State Energy HK Limited, a separate Chinese company, wired $3 million to  Robinson Walker, LLC on March 1, or several weeks after Joe Biden left office as vice president.

“After the Robinson Walker, LLC account received $3 million from State Energy HK Limited, Biden family members and their companies began receiving incremental payments over a period of approximately three months,” The memo stated that. “The recipients of the money included Hallie Biden, companies associated with Hunter Biden and James Biden.”

Meanwhile, around the same time, more than $1 million was wired from Robinson Walker, LLC to European Energy and Infrastructure Group in Abu Dhabi, a company associated with James Gilliar, another of Hunter Biden’s business associates.

The letter stated that the account was not known and had no name “Biden” In addition, the payments totaled approximately $70,000 Oversight Republicans stated that they don’t know who Biden is.

According to House Oversight Republicans, Hallie Biden was also receiving wire transfers of approximately $35,000 between March-May that year. She was apparently romantically involved with Hunter Biden.

An account labeled “Account” between March 2017 and May 2017 “Owasco P.C.,” Oversight Republicans reported that Hunter Biden received $500,000 in compensation. A James Biden account was named “JBBSR INC” Walker’s account received approximately $360,000 during the same period.

The Epoch Times reached out to James Biden’s spokesperson for comment.

Comer stated in a statement, that Oversight Republicans had not yet determined the reason for the Biden family’s payments or the services rendered.

“The Oversight Committee is concerned about the national security implications resulting from President Biden’s family receiving millions of dollars from foreign nationals,” Comer made the statement in a statement. “We will continue to follow the money trail and facts to determine if President Biden is compromised by his family’s business schemes and if there is a national security threat.”

The Epoch Times also reached out to Hunter Biden’s lawyers for comments. Comer’s latest revelations have not been commented on by Hunter Biden or other members the Biden family.

On Thursday, a spokesperson for the White House stated to several media outlets that the Oversight Committee investigation into the Biden family was a waste of time. According to the White House spokesperson, Republicans are conducting a politically motivated investigation.

“Instead of bizarrely attacking the President’s family, perhaps House Republicans should focus on working with the president to deliver results for American families on important priorities like lowering costs and strengthening health care,” According to the spokesperson, Comer also said so. “has now decided to go after Beau’s widow” With new allegations

Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., is the top Oversight Democrat.), accused Comer and Republicans of targeting Biden instead of former President Donald Trump. Comer claimed that he had dropped a demand for accounting records from Trump’s accounting company Mazars USA.

“Your apparent decision to permit former President Trump’s attorneys to speak on behalf of the Committee and allow Mazars to stop producing evidence of President Trump’s own misconduct is, by itself, an astonishing delegation of the legislative power of the Chair to a twice-impeached former President whose Executive Branch actions are still actively under Committee investigation,” In a Sunday letter, Raskin wrote to Comer.

Comer’s committee said that a number of questions need to be answered about the wire transfers, including a response to why those transfers to the Biden family members were made via incremental payments to different bank accounts, what services Biden’s family provided to receive those payments, the identity of the “Biden” Account holder. Hallie Biden was working as a school counselor and received payments from Robinson Walker, LLC.
