Biden Appears To Nod Off At Climate Conference — But Not Everyone Blames Him
President Joe Biden appeared to be struggling to stay awake during the opening statements at Monday’s United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP26).
Biden was captured on video nodding slightly and blinking for several seconds at a time, prompting the Washington Post’s Zach Purser Brown to ask whether the president was dozing off during the early moments of the conference. But quite a few people — even those who had been critical of Biden in the past — rallied behind him and argued that in his position, they might just do the same.

In Biden’s defense, the others visible in the video frame also appeared to be nodding off at times.
