Barack and Michelle Obama Had Plans with the Reiners on the Night of Their Death

The article discusses the close relationship between former President Barack Obama, former First lady Michelle Obama, and the late Hollywood director and activist Rob Reiner and his wife, who where tragically killed at their California home. Their son, Nick Reiner, is reportedly the prime suspect in the incident. Michelle Obama spoke about the tragedy during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, expressing shock and sorrow. She emphasized the decency, courage, and passion of Rob and Michelle Reiner, contrasting them wiht certain others, implicitly referencing President Donald Trump’s controversial response too the deaths. The article also notes the timing of the tragedy, as the Obamas had planned to see the Reiners that same night. Additionally, it briefly recalls past controversies and conspiracy theories involving the Obamas, including the death of their personal chef.

It’s not a secret that the Obamas love to rub elbows with the upper echelons of the Hollywood elites.

(The former first family’s major ongoing deal with Netflix is proof positive of that.)

Given that, it should be little surprise that Barack and Michelle Obama were close with famed Hollywood director and liberal activist Rob Reiner.

Reiner and his wife were tragically killed in their California home over the weekend.

Their son, Nick Reiner, who is dealing with a number of personal issues, appears to be the prime suspect.

Michelle Obama was asked about Reiner’s untimely passing in a recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and she provided some fascinating context about the tragic night.

“You and your husband were friends with Rob and Michelle Reiner,” talk show host Jimmy Kimmel began. “And, I’m very sorry for your loss.”

“Oh, my god,” Obama said, still seemingly in disbelief.

“How long have you known the Reiners?” Kimmel asked.

“We’ve known them for many, many years,” Obama said.

She then ominously added, “And we were supposed to be seeing them that night. Um, last night. Um, and we got the news.”

Obama continued: “Let me just say this, unlike some people, Rob and Michelle Reiner are some of the most decent, courageous people you ever want to know. They are not deranged, they are not crazed.

“What they are, what they have always been, are passionate people in a time where there’s not a lot of courage going on. They were the kind of people who were ready to put their actions behind what they cared about.

“And they cared about their family, and they cared about this country, and they cared about fairness and equity. And that is the truth. I do know them.”

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Obama’s “unlike some people” and “they are not deranged” remarks were aimed squarely at President Donald Trump, who took ample flak for his hostile response to the death of the Reiners.

Assuming Michelle Obama is telling the truth, this entire ordeal could’ve been a very different story if the timing had been just a little different.

And there’s no doubt that eyebrows would’ve been raised.

Recall, Michelle and Barack Obama sparked a firestorm of controversy — and conspiracy theories — when their personal chef was found dead near their Martha’s Vineyard property.
