Illegal border-crossers can now make California taxpayers pay for counterfeit genitals
California Taxpayers Foot the Bill for Illegal Immigrants’ Gender Reassignment Surgeries
Foreign nationals who illegally enter the United States and want their genitals surgically mutilated can now have the procedure done at California taxpayers’ expense.
According to a 2022 state-issued memo obtained by The Daily Caller, California’s taxpayer-funded Medi-Cal health system now “covers hormone therapy and surgical procedures ‘that bring primary and secondary gender characteristics into conformity with the individual’s identified gender, including ancillary services, such as hair removal, incident to those services.'”
In June 2015, then-Democrat Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation expanding Medi-Cal to foreign lawbreakers younger than 18. Then the state’s current Democrat governor, Gavin Newsom, further expanded the program in 2019 to include illegal foreigners between the ages of 19 and 25. The system’s most recent revamping now includes coverage for foreign nationals as old as 50, according to The Daily Caller.
“Roughly 700,000 illegal immigrants in the state between the age of 26 and 49 qualify for full coverage as of Jan. 1,” the report reads.
When pressed on the policy last month, Newsom’s office told ABC News it believes “everyone deserves access to quality, affordable health care coverage – regardless of income or immigration status.” The Democrat governor’s office further claimed the policy makes Californians “healthier [and] stronger,” and gives residents ”the care they need when they need it.”
If only Newsom bothered to prioritize the well-being of U.S. citizens suffering under California’s unilateral Democrat rule. Despite being the wealthiest state in the nation, California boasts the highest homeless rate among U.S. states, only outdone by the 90-percent-Democrat District of Columbia. The Golden State’s once-pristine cities have also devolved into third-world hotbeds littered with crime, drugs, and human feces since Democrats took trifecta control of the state.
Newsom, California Democrats, and their voters have allowed these American citizens to rot for years. Yet for a visit by China’s communist dictator, state and local authorities will quickly clean up the streets for a few days.

How does the expansion of Medi-Cal to include illegal immigrants neglect the healthcare needs of US citizens and raise concerns about limited resources
Ite the governor’s claims, this policy raises numerous concerns and highlights the misguided priorities of the state’s leadership.
First and foremost, it is important to address the issue of illegal immigration. The fact that foreigners who have entered the country illegally are now receiving taxpayer-funded healthcare is a slap in the face to the millions of law-abiding citizens who struggle to afford medical care for themselves and their families. It sends a message that breaking the law and disregarding our immigration system is not only acceptable but also rewarded.
Furthermore, the specific focus on gender reassignment surgeries raises questions about the necessity and appropriateness of using taxpayers’ money for such procedures. While it is true that individuals should have the right to make decisions about their own bodies, it is questionable whether this extends to taxpayer-funded surgeries that are not essential for the person’s physical health.
California’s decision to expand Medi-Cal to include illegal immigrants is not only financially irresponsible but also ignores the fact that there are limited resources available. By prioritizing the healthcare needs of foreign nationals over the needs of US citizens, the state is neglecting its duty to its own people.
Another troubling aspect of this policy is the lack of transparency and input from the public. The decision to cover gender reassignment surgeries was made without consulting taxpayers or allowing them to voice their opinions on the matter. This lack of democratic process is concerning and undermines the trust between the government and its citizens.
The argument that this policy makes Californians “healthier” and “stronger” is flawed. True progress in healthcare comes from addressing the root causes of health issues and providing access to necessary care for those who need it most. By diverting resources to non-essential procedures for a specific group of individuals, the state is failing to prioritize the health and well-being of its own citizens.
It is crucial that we reevaluate and reconsider the current healthcare policies in California. Taxpayers should not be forced to foot the bill for illegal immigrants’ medical procedures that are not essential for their health. Instead, we should focus on providing affordable, quality healthcare to all citizens while enforcing immigration laws to protect the integrity of our system.
In conclusion, the decision to cover gender reassignment surgeries for illegal immigrants at the expense of California taxpayers raises serious concerns about the state’s priorities and its disregard for the well-being of its own citizens. It is imperative that we reexamine these policies and work towards a healthcare system that serves the needs of all residents, rather than prioritizing the wants of a specific group.
