Ana Navarro admits to enthusiastically expressing herself while driving in Florida, exclaiming “We say gay!”
The View Co-Host Ana Navarro’s Bold Response to Gov. Ron DeSantis
The atmosphere on The View was electric as co-host Ana Navarro shared her unconventional way of expressing her views towards Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and his supporters. In a moment of unfiltered honesty, Navarro revealed that she leans out of her car “like a dog” and boldly yells, “We say gay!” whenever she finds herself in their vicinity.
This revelation came in response to co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin’s story about witnessing the 2024 presidential candidates, including DeSantis, campaigning in New Hampshire. Griffin recounted how DeSantis was heckled with a “we say gay” chant, which caught Navarro’s attention.
“It wasn’t me in New Hampshire screaming, ‘We say gay!'” Navarro chimed in, with a mischievous smile. “Though I wish I would have. I try to do it any time I’m anywhere near Ron DeSantis or any of his people.”
Navarro’s passion for her cause was palpable as she animatedly described her actions. “I just, like, I go around like a dog in Florida with my head outside of my car: ‘We say gay! We say gay! We say gay!'” she exclaimed, drawing cheers and applause from the enthusiastic audience.
It’s worth noting that Navarro has been a vocal critic of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, often referred to derogatorily as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by activists. This legislation, signed by DeSantis in March 2022, has faced backlash for its prohibition of sexual orientation and gender identity discussions in kindergarten through third grade classrooms.
