Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Fox News’s Will Cain accepted the Trump administration’s latest “Make America Healthy Again” challenge, sharing footage of their attempt on X.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. unveiled the “Pete & Bobby Challenge” Monday evening. It requires participants to complete 100 push-ups and 50 pull-ups within 10 minutes, with five minutes being “the top standard.”
The two secretaries challenged Duffy and Cain to a workout, prompting Duffy and the Fox News host to post footage of their dual workout in Dallas, Texas. Duffy’s video was accompanied by Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger.”
Cain finished the challenge in 5 minutes and 12 seconds, boasting on The Will Cain Show Wednesday, he beat Hegseth’s time of 5:25 and Kennedy’s 5:48.
Duffy said on The Will Cain Show he broke his shoulder and that his doctor advised not to do push-ups or pull-ups, but still completed the challenge in 12:25.
Following the workout, Cain invited Fox News’s Jesse Watters, host of Jesse Watters Primetime, and ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky, a former football quarterback, to complete the Pete & Bobby Challenge.
Kennedy said Tuesday that President Donald Trump “inspired” him and Hegseth to start this challenge. The two are going on tour to get others “back in shape.”

The “Pete & Bobby Challenge” is the latest push for the Trump administration’s “Make America Healthy Again.” Trump signed an executive order to bring back the Presidential Fitness Test in schools on July 31.
